Hemi Design

|
"Hemi Performance Engineering" is dedicated to maximizing performance through global engineering solutions that unlock the Horsepower trapped inside every OEM motor and/or every aftermarket "kit" that usually creates more trouble than it's worth. We challenge each and every manufactures' claim that their part will 'fit' or 'work' in combination with any other. No valve, cam, piston, or other part, aftermarket or OEM, can become a part of a "Hemi Performance Engineering" performance package unless and until its integration into our global engineering solution proves that it can increase horsepower without destroying the 'turn-key' roadworthiness of your bike.
We are not parts changers. We are engineers who have learned that maximizing performance requires a complete and thorough understanding of your bike as a total system. When you call "Hemi Performance Engineering", you will actually speak to a person who knows every facet of our operation. We do not export our calls to a 'support center' where somebody getting paid minimum wage simply takes an order.
We are riders who have been victimized by the outrageous claims made in the industry as a whole. Our collective experience coupled with countless hours of research and testing, have generated a broad knowledge base that put "Hemi Performance Engineering" in a unique position to specifically address the needs of each of our customers. We have learned that one size does not fit all. There are an infinite number of combinations. We will tell you what we know works and what we know that doesn't. No kit will be sold unless we can prove to ourselves that it works as a part of a global solution for your specific needs.
We are driven towards excellence solely by the passion we all share for uncompromised performance.

S & S Cycle

|
S&S Cycle is a motorcycle engine and parts manufacturer that was founded in 1958 by George J. Smith and Stanley Stankos in Blue Island, Illinois. The company started by selling high performance pushrods for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and today they still make parts for American V-Twin bikes. The company's current president is Brett Smith, the grandson of founder George Smith, who first started working at the company in 2002.
Soon after the formation of S&S, George's wife, Marjorie, bought out Stanley Stankos and Smith & Stankos became Smith & Smith. In 1969, the company moved from Blue Island to establish a new headquarters in Viola, Wisconsin. S&S still operates at this location, but opened an additional facility in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 2004
S&S was the first motorcycle engine manufacturer to produce pre-certified EPA compliant engines, lifting the burden and cost of performing the complicated EPA testing procedures from the companies and enthusiasts who buy S&S engines.
